Cooperative Learning is an educational approach in which teachers and pupils use techniques, strategies and methodological resources to complete tasks collectively towards academic goals. The teacher's role changes from giving information to facilitating students' learning. In this way, pupils and teachers will form knowledge in a unified way.
Cooperative learning is put into practice in the different educational stages, making changes if needed and meeting the students’ needs.
Unlike individual learning, students learning cooperatively can capitalize on one another's resources and skills. When working in this way, we develop the basic cooperative learning elements: face to face promotive interaction, individual and group accountability, positive interdependence, group processing and collaborative skills.
