     Discipline Rules

Taking into account that respect for others is the basis of living within a society, the school, board of directors and staff believe that it is a basic value that must be instilled to the pupils we are educating.

In order to achieve a proper sense of community, the following rules must be fulfilled:

  • To be respectful and understanding with the people we live with.
  • To pay attention and participate in the classes actively and in a responsible way, showing respect for the study environment and the others? opinions.
  • When lack of efficiency is not justified or behaviour is noticeably negative, the tutor will inform the parents to seek a way to help the student.
  • Unauthorised absence from school is a very serious fault.
  • Mark forgery is a very serious fault.
  • It is very important for students to be punctual and to attend school every day. Classes must not be interrupted unless it is necessary and always with the teacher?s permission.
  • Anticipated absence from school will be reported in writing.
  • In the case that a pupil misses an exam due to absence, this will not be repeated again. If it were a term-end exam, the pupil would go onto the recuperation exam.
  • Cheating in an exam will imply the loss of the evaluation until June.
  • Neatness in written assignments and essays and correct spelling will be assessed in all subjects.
  • To behave according to the basic rules of politeness and good manners.
  • To keep personal tidiness, as well as cleanliness in school.
  • To be aware that order inside and outside the classes is essential, so students should refrain from shouting and running.
  • Pupils must wear the whole school uniform and any alteration must be reported in writing. No symbol other than the school badge will be worn on the uniform. Pupils in Primary Education must wear overall. Pupils should be aware that when wearing the school uniform, they are responsible for their actions before the school.
  • To make a correct use of both personal and school material. Things damaged will be replaced by those who caused the damage.
  • Smoking is not permitted in the school by recommendation of the Health authorities.
  • Due to security reasons, the bus service is the regular means of transport. Pupils are not allowed to come to school by motorcycle.
  • Pupils are not allowed to use their mobile phones in the school.
  • The accumulation of minor faults will be considered a serious fault.
